Folding Bikes - I'm a new Dahon Curve D3 owner

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I just got my curve and I have to say I had quite a good time on it today. It fits in the back of my Mini Cooper without even having to mess around with the seats. It unfolds easily, and then you're off. The shifting is amazing; I've never ridden with an internal hub and it was completely silent and shifted easily, and the bike is very comfortable. The wheels are pretty fast too. It was a great break from riding ss.
There's no way to take yourself too seriously on this tiny thing. I felt like a little kid!

Glad to hear you are happy with your curve. I change my seat post to Thudbuster suspension seatpost and the ride is much more comfortable. But watch out for those steep slops as you need to put in extra effort.

You are now enjoying the true secret of these little wonders. I have had folding bikes for over 4 years now. Sadly I am about to give up my last nonfolding bike ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/world-of-folding-bicycles/338611633/in/set-72157594461421431/ (http://www.flickr.com/photos/world-of-folding-bicycles/338611633/in/set-72157594461421431/) ) within a week's time due to lack of use and storage room. But because my folders are so compact even unfolded, I get to keep them all!
