I had one very similar to that, when I was about 10(28 years ago). I wouldnt use it now. That switch looks like it in an awkward position. Rather than fumble for the switch to turn, then turn it off, I would rather pay attention to my surroundings.

Pay attention all you want, if you cannot be seen your gonna get nailed! I don't ever remember seeing anything even remotely close to this 28 years ago.

I would never wear one, I have very bright lights front and rear so I'm really not worried about being see.

Yes, lights are needed. Just dont want to be flipping switches.

I have operated emergency vehicles professionally for more that 35 years. While I find the idea and thought well intended I find it difficult to believe people will pay attention to it. After all they more times than not don't pay attention to official emergency lights. A good headlight and a good tail light and as MR99 posted paying ATTENTION. Nice toy if you want to spend the money.

I agree with busted knuckles, the switch location looks like bad news. The lights on the front would likely kill your night vision as well.

But the lights on the back look killer. If there was a nonobtrusive way to trigger these (i.e., that wouldn't involve wiring the vest to the handlebars or having a switch in a glove ala Peter PArker), I can see getting one.

The sigzeen site says it has a wireless remote that can be mounted to the handle bar.
