Hello to all. Just starting and it looks like a great place. Hope to be able to contribute at some point. Indiana is still cold and wet on this February 6th, but I look forward to fine rides soon. I've been bicycling for a long time and enjoy talking/writing/thinking about it. Let me know if we might have conversation.

Hi OldRed, if you can type a thought, someone here will respond. There are quite a few members in Indiana, including one of our moderators, Tom Stormcrowe.

What kind of riding do you do? I'm hoping that you will say that you like vintage bikes :) .

Thanks for the welcome, East Hill. I'm mostly a road rider now. Not competitive much, just like to enjoy what wildlife I can see. I've hit the trials a few times and enjoy that too. Rode across the United States last year. I'm comfortable riding alone, with an organized group, or just about any combination of people and bicycles.

I've been on bicycles long enough that I knew some vintage bikes personally. My first new bicycle was from Sears and it had three speeds. There have been steel, aluminum, and carbon bikes in my stable at one time or another. Currently riding a TREK Pilot.

Not always, but the trip produced several hundred. Some of them are even worth looking at. What kind of pictures do you want?

If you look at my blog, you will see that I am a big fan of wildlife (although this has not been the best weather for photographing anything :( ) .

Tell you what, I will get the thumb drive out and look up the animals. I have antelope, a wolf, sand hill cranes, buffalo (including calves), and a falcon (at least I think it is a falcon). Perhaps I could send you thumbnails.
