most of you have probably seen this. huge loss to utility and other individuals interested in not only doing their own maintenance but their own bike building and hacking as well.

i met him once on a pilgrimmage to harris cyclery in mass. didn't even say hello, to shy!

I've many times used Sheldon's excellent article on wheel-building. It's the best reference I could find and if you follow the steps, you should have a durable wheel.

His death is definitely a huge loss to this community. My condolences to his family.
