The Grampster came down from DC to the Charlotte Area to visit family and we were able to hook up and do another ride together. We were hoping to have Palt join us but unfortunately he had some other commitments.

However, the timing was perfect for a ride as The Grampster and I really enjoyed being out in the incredibly warm 70+ degree, sunny weather. Just amazing conditions for the first week in February.

We had planned to do a 40 mile ride but unfortunately I'm very good at estimating routes so we wound up with a solid 50+ miles. With the nice weather we were able to don our 50+ jerseys and even shorts. Okay be nice about our white legs.........it has been a while since they have seen any sun!!

You two guys are makin' me cry:cry: I did want to join those two "studs" for a great ride in incredible weather, but work these days doesn't afford me a lot of time off. Glad Tim made it down here to enjoy the company and conditions, we'll have to try again. Meanwhile, I pedal away on the trainer after work...:( Bring on daylight savings time!!!

Tim and I both agreed that if we were to do it over again we'd definitely move up a jersey size! The jerseys we have sure don't camoflauge anything!!!!!

I think it was just the harsh February sunlight.......and wow, I'm 40 pounds lighter than last year at this time.....

I'm going green with envy. SHORT Sleeve riding in February. Think I only got in 3 rides last last year without at least 2 layers.

Excellent report and nic epics. Now I am chomping for another 50+ jersey offering. How about it cccorlew? is it going to be in the spring? sure hope so:D
