Man.. Mr Stormcrowe probably invented geography - along with many of those fictional branches of mathematics. Are numbers even real? I don't think so. They're not real until Mr. Stormcrowe invents them that is.. -and even then they're still highly suspect. imo.:beer:

I lived and breathed Geography as a trucker, and worked on 3 continents. You get a little bit of knowledge, you know, doing that, including an Encyclopedic knowledge of geography. ;)
As to the math, I've always been a bit of a math geek ;)

You know.. not to get the thread completely sidetracked. But I know this man who volunteers a lot of his time for all kinds of different charitable things. One of them was teaching adult literacy, I had the opportunity to meet with one of the men he had tutored, this man was probably in his 60's and he was retired truck driver. He was also math savant, he had the powers like that guy in the movie Rain Man (great movie :beer: ), except he was fully articulate and all that -- but somehow he never learned to read. Apparently he wasn't dyslexic either, he would be able to look up the street names by the alphabet, by alphabetical order in the index -- until he found the one by matching up the letters of the street names. He found ways of coping with his disability and was able to make a living his entire life driving trucks and raised a family doing that. And only a very few ppl ever even knew that he couldn't read (he probably would have lost his job if ppl had found that out of course). Also, I remember he had a photographic memory -- I'm sure that helped him out. But still it wasn't until after retirement that he actually learned to read and write. Incredible huh?

Inventive method, and it was a form of reading, using math by treating the words as an equation of sorts by treating the letters as positional variables. Pretty cool idea, actually! :D I'll remember that when I am in practice. Thanks :D

I'd have to meet and talk to him to be sure, but yeah, I think it's a distinct possibility.
He was probably a very smart man who as a kid, just never had a priority to read, or may well hahve had undiagnosed ADD (Not diagnosed then, they weren't aware of it), and often kids with ADD learn in a very nonlinear fashion. They tend to make very strange mental connections in their learning process that work for them.

There are imaginary numbers. You actually pay for imaginary numbers every month. Its called Apparent Power and its how the electric company charges. See, even numbers that aren't real can hurt.:mad: Unless you work for an electric company.:D

It seems like fun but on a 1600x1200 screen it's very small. Is there a way I can increase the size of flash objects without changing my base screen resolution?
I tried <ctrl>+ to zoom in but the flash object doesn't change size.
