Our Cycling Double Header -- Mountains of Misery and Wilderness Road Ride -- still has a few coordinator positions to fill. These are volunteer positions but the rewards are still great. You'll make new friends for sure, and forge valuable relationships with all the community groups who do the various event jobs.
Coordinators meet once a month, and work independently between meetings. Since most of the work is done by groups who have been doing it for years, a coordinator's job is pretty easy -- just confirm the usual arrangements and help keep everything running smoothly.
Come be part of a great event. You can ride one day and volunteer the other -- and of course, get free entry into the ride of your choice.
Please see the volunteer page of the CDH site (http://www.cyclingdoubleheader.com/volunteer.html) for more information. There's a coordinators' meeting this Sunday evening. Hope to see you there!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
