Ouch man. If you're joking about it, I assume there isn't anything too serious, which is fortunate. Hope it heals quickly.
We're off to a really bad start in 2008. Get well soon.
good god, man. you know they make special hammers to break that stuff, right?
Wow! Good luck and get well soon!
you sure that was gravity that did that to you?? OUCH !!!!!! Heal up, ope you can see outa right eye soon after that mouse goes away.
Ouch.......be careful out there Dave.
that looks really bad, how'd it happen?
thats gonna leave a mark.......on the pavement.
Hope you heal up quickly. :(
Ouch! When you're feeling better, we want to hear the war story... and of course the question above is averyone's main concern :D
ouch, looks nasty.
My suggestion for you is to keep every bit of road rash moist.
You should NOT allow any part of the wounds/rash to dry up or scab up at any time.
If you follow my instructions, you will heal quickly, with minimal pain, no scabs (which may lead to infections), and little-to-no scars at all.
I thought we all agreed on no more crashes. Geez, Hope you heal up quickly.
That sucks, dude, get well soon!
Get well soon! and stop trying to impress the girls when you are riding your bike... that will prevent this from happening in the future!
So I assume that the 'Charity ride for Dave' is for you?
10 AM Saturday, Triangle Square, Costa Mesa...
well my buddy and i were on the bottom level of the triangle square parking structure just messing around, practicing tricks and sht. i went up the ramp to get some speed to lay a long skid and all i remember is turning around at the top of the ramp to come down. next thing i remember is having a bunch of paramedics around me, then waking up in the hospital a few hours later. he said i just got sideways and went straight down, my head took the brunt of it. he said i didn't even have time to put my arms down.
i broke everything around my eye, the bone my eyeball sits on, and my cheekbone. =\
That's pretty rough man....heal up quick...no drinking from straws...did they tell you that? I did the same thing into the back of a truck on a motorcycle a couple years ago...you'll be fine sooner or later...i know you know this already man but helmets man helmets!! Were you wearing one?, if not you may have gotten off lucky so to speak. Heal up soon bro! I know how much it sucks to be broken up.
i broke everything around my eye, the bone my eyeball sits on, and my cheekbone. =\
Did you have a helmet on?
No I feel like a wussy complaining about my hamstring.
chix dig scars.
get well soon.
Ouchies. You do have your face insured, yes? Your career as a catalog model may be in peril.
So I assume that the 'Charity ride for Dave' is for you?
10 AM Saturday, Triangle Square, Costa Mesa...
yea that's mine.
and no, i wasn't wearing a helmet. =\
Are they raising money to buy you a helmet?
Feel better soon, dddave. I hated to hear about this. :(
If I can't make the ride, I will paypal you a lil something...
yea that's mine.
and no, i wasn't wearing a helmet. =\
 Oh, good Lord. I've not been checking the forums and I missed this. :( I hope you heal quickly, Dave.
Dave, Hope you heal soon...
I've probably seen you ridin around here
I only live a few blocks from Triangle square...
yea that's mine.
and no, i wasn't wearing a helmet. =\You might want to get a hockey mask.
Dang, that's some nasty damage. At this point, though, I'd be more concerned with what the inside of the skull looked like.
Probably not a whole lot worse than what you might expect from a night of heavy drinking, but still... ;)
Be well!
Dave, did they give you a cat scan? I would suspect so, but if not - seriously, go get one just in case.
My friend Mary also had a spill too. It is a dangerous beginning to the year.
Looks like you might require some extended heal time from the sound of it.
Take care and follow the Doc's orders.
Prayers for you for a speedy recovery with no complications!
Get well soon...hope you don't get any headaches.
i dont think a helmet would have helped.

But seriously, no damage to the eye or vision, I hope?
i dont think a helmet would have helped.
I think your wrong but this ain't the place to battle over helmet safety. How are you feeling this morning Dave?
