Not to be confused in any way with the HHH (http://horriblyhilly.com/home.html) or other opportunities to hammer, the annual Ride the River (http://www.riveraction.org/nuke73/modules.php?name=News&file=categories&op=newindex&catid=3) event is scheduled for Fathers' Day, June 15th here in the Quad-Cites of Iowa and Illinois.
This River Action (http://www.riveraction.org/) fund raiser is a good event for families and others who enjoy rather slow riding with a large group. It offers Mississippi crossings by boat or bridge, routes from 16 to 60 miles, and a generally laid-back day.
Who knows, by June 15th we may even be riding in short pants again!
