I ride the following bikes: Trek 7.6 X, Orbea Orca 2007, 1976 Viscount. Interested in chat about the Orbea and/or the Viscount, which I am thinking of rebuilding with carbon seat post and fork so comments would be welcome.

I ride, when weather permits, about 100 miles/wk -- weekends on the road, weekdays on the Perkiomen Trail (outside Phila) gravel and black top and Peace Valley (blacktop). I am a freelance writer so my work schedule is of my own making.

By the way, at my advanced age, I want the Orbea (Campy Chorus) to be an even better climber but don't want to go to a triple. I now have a 25 on the rear cassette and am thinking of trying a cassette with a 29 (max I'm told for the Campy setup. Any comments?

Hi Quigs! I think I already said hi, but what the heck! Hi again :D .

No comment on the set up. I ride 10- and 12-speed bikes (love the vintage stuff :) ) .

Welcome to BF!
