And now its dead!

Tonight I put in a request with the Arkansas Sustainability Network's bike coop for a custom-made ghost bike. I don't know much about it except that it will be white. They will assemble all their finest broken parts and the Bicycle Advocacy of Central Arkansas will pull it along on the Ride of Silence in May. :)

That's it exactly. I will probably mount the ghost bike on a trailer for the Ride of Silence (http://www.rideofsilence.org/main.php) on May 21. With that in the lead, it will probably be easier to keep the Ride of Silence from turning into a race like it did last year.

It's a little more poignant this year. We just heard that the drunk driver who killed a local cyclist a little over a year ago has been arrested again for drunk driving. Our advocacy group is going to speak up about that.
