Hi All
Just looking for advice. Have been cycling to work over the past few months. I usually wear a tracksuit. SInce Ive started it has had a significant impact on mt fertility as explained by my doctore. Has anyone had such side affects.

You should make sure that your riding position is good. Cycling shorts/tights/pants with a chamois provides good padding for that region, and most serious cyclists wear them for extended rides. Your saddle (seat) choice can make a big difference the amount of blood flow your perineum receives. Check out the commuting or road forum for more specific recommendations. This forum doesn't get a lot of traffic.
It's best to use one of the anatomical seats with a cutout in the prostate region. This will solve nearly all problems. Also, most problems are developed by those who ride long hours daily on old style seats. Moderate riding on a good seat should pose no problems unless there are other complications.

I urge you to research any purchase you make carefully. While most people are in agreement that bicycle seats restrict blood flow, there are varying opinions on what the best solution is. Many of the the seats with cutouts have been proven to actually exacerbate the problem, which is why I urge you to research your purchase ahead of time. I do have a friend that really likes the Specialized saddles, so I'll recommend those specifically. I've also read good things about the Selle Italia SMP saddles, but the last time I checked prices for them they were far too expensive for my tastes. They look kind of weird too.

It's probably the saddle, not your underwear. I can attest to the effects of ill-fitting saddles.
Specialized ones work for me. I've got a few of them.
