Has anyone done something along the lines of a century down to phoenix from prescott? I'm about to do this century, and have two options I can see ahead of me, however I don't think one of them is legal, and that one is actually probably the safer one
I can either take the 89 which turns into the 60 down to phoenix, or the I 17. Which is legal to take down (eg: where would I need to get off the I 17 before it gets illegal etc) and which is probably the safer bet or is there any better route?
I'm still trying to google up on this, but at the moment not having much luck, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: I found out what I needed in that sense; but a new question arises... how likely is my bike to get stolen in phoenix? I have a lock, but its not a ulock, but its not a cheap walmart lock either....

Have ridden Prescott to Phx several times; about 125 miles. Some great downhills especially at Yarnell . . . hit 53 mph on our tandem.
Your bike is as safe in Phx as anywhere else. If they wanna steal it, they will.
