Everything went well! I originally purchased the bike at Coates in Pomona so I took it there for the warranty service. I've had pleasant experiences with Corey the couple of times I've had to go in. Not usually a shop person but SoCalRider did a good thing to refer me to Mike. He's a great guy and good mechanic. This is the first time I've actually had someone contact me with updates as the work progressed. The guy even called me when he was setting up the stem and fork to ask if I wanted even the slightest change. Good guy and did a sweet job! Got the bike home and it works like it has been worked on by a TDF mechanic! First ride will be tomorrow. We'll see if there is a difference with a lil fiber in my diet!:D

I love the paint job. Looks a bit bright in the pic by the couch. Actual color is more like the dark blue pics.

What a gloriously retro metal flake paint job! Reminds me of the motorcycle helmets in late 60's, early 70's:

Beanz, a 57?

Yup, 57. My Cannondale is a 58, seems real long on the TT. The 57 is mo comfy!:D...but it is a compact frame.

Wow i have the exact same bike. Yeah the top tube on these bikes seem a little long and I had to go with a 57 because a 59 just had to long of a top tube so I have to show a lot of seat post. I love the bike and the matching fork is great but it is way to heavy. Hope you enjoy the new bike i know i love mine

Goodlooking ride you got there Beanz. I have heard that Lemonds tend to be long in the top tube. Is this true?

Also, is that a 25mm tire you got in there, or is it a 23?

Beanz! Great looking bike! I love the color. It matches the stripe down my back and it is just the right size for me. Are you going to loan it out?

Congrat's!!!! I'm sure the waiting was a pain! You'll be out riding in high style now!

The couch is the same.

Obviously, they messed up in your order. Give them a call again and demand to talk to a supervisor this time.

very nice replacement frame.. I saw your bike sitting at Coates and the crack was severe, you are lucky..

Mike is great with follow up, Corey is just too busy to give the one on one attention..

Thanks all. Today was the first ride and MAN, the sucker was very responsive. Much more than the Tourmalet. The T had a feeling of hesitation. Very comfy but flexy. The Chambery was very responsive. I noticed the comfy fit as soon as I put my leg over it. But in all fairness the T was comfy too. But this sucker felt smooth when I started rolling. Althought the smooth new feeling usually wears off after 20 mintues as usual, the reponsiveness was still there at the end of the ride.

I stood up on a few of the short steep sections of the trail to see if I could hear chainrub on the flex like the T, but nope, not a sound. I could flex the T on the climbs while remaining seated. This sucker didn't budge while I stood. Hope it stays that way!:D

At the beachstop!
