Advocacy & Safety - Where Can I Find The Bike Routes?
Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Your street directory or back pages in the local directory should have maps with bike paths marked. Also, nearby cycling groups might have compiled their own maps that are available. BV here in Melbourne post out free maps with bike paths and lanes highlighted so there may be something similar where you live.

Well they are usually made of asphalt and concrete, and they probably run right in front of your house. They are called roads and they will go just about anywhere that you want to go.

Some roads are more enjoyable to ride on than others. Personally, I plan my routes to avoid high speed suburban arterials. Cycling should be enjoyable not death defying.
I second bikely.com and routeslip.com
mapmyride.com seems fine as well.
