Road Cycling - Trek Y-foil....thoughts or comments?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I've never ridden one and I've never heard much about them. A local dealer has a 'new' frameset is stock that I'm eyeing up. Any thoughts or comments are appreciated. Are they stiff? How is the ride? Why did Trek stop making them? (UCI problems???) How much were the framesets retailing for?

Thanks,
Jim

the frame is no longer uci legal. is it a good bike? it's not bad; it'll get you noticed. it probably isn't worth what any y-foil owner is asking for...
