I'm a year shy of 50 but I rode the 55 miler. It had been a couple years since I had ridden the TdPS and I couldn't believe all the hoopla yesterday. Bands and cheerleaders at the SAGs. Then they held everybody up around the corner from the finish so there would be big groups coming in with a bunch of fanfare. It was really kind of strange.

I rode the century, but since DG wasn't there I didn't wear my 50+ jersey (wore my club OCRR jersey instead).

Saw lots of obviously (well, looked like to me) 50+ riders though! Met "justme" from the Socal forum.

Lovely day, beautifully organized century (well, 102 mile ride). Some rough roads but overall very good surface. Check regional SoCal for photos.

My total time was 6:15, not sure what my bike time was . . . will check and edit/add later.
