ok... i understand that when the "mile/h" isn't flashing your trip distance, average speed, max speed, and trip timer aren't being recorded... but is the odometer still being recorded...?

After i turn it on,its flashing. When doesnt it flash? If you just turn on the computer and dont hit a button,i dont think anything starts but maybe for the mph.

if you are in any one of those modes, and you hit the button on the left shifter, it will stop flashing... the manual says flashing means it's recording... it's not really well written...

Yes, my odometer keeps working no matter what. Even if I don't use the trip stuff.
