Well its been a tuff start, but we have had some decent weather, so my goal was to ride twice this weekend with one being at least 10 miles. Saturday I did 10.76 miles averaging a tad over 14 mph. Today was a bit slower and shorter at 8.42 miles. Thanks to all on this forum as you guys make it easy to go out and do it.
Now for a 20 miler soon.

Outstanding! You'll be doing a Metric before you know it ;)
Keep it up and gradually add distance and speed and you will amaze yourself with what you can do.

It took me less than four months to go from 8 miles to 63 in a day. I'm sure the OP can do it as well, if not better and in less time.
Thanks to you guys and gals I know I will get there soon. The great part about biking is its more fun than work.
