hey thats me! Somehow I missed this thread. Yes EndoVerendo and I flew up for the weekend. It was much more crowded than last year in San Jose but Portland was a great host city. Bikes everywhere, a free transit system downtown, great food and drink spots, etc. And we felt maybe 12 or 13 raindrops the entire weekend :) The locals kept reminding us how lucky we were.

The bikes as usual were amazing. Best of Show winner Naked Cycles had only one bike on display and it was a beauty. We later found out that Lance approached him with an *undisclosed offer* and bought the bike on the spot. I, other the other hand, did not approach any builders with a "name your price" offer :(

A friend from L.A. put a deposit down for a Richard Sachs. 6 year wait list and $4k. You gotta really need a RS frame. Lots of junior builders there who will make you a killer frame in about 6 months.

I was bummed that The MotherFluxers didn't play this year. A jam band comprised of Ross Schafer (Salsa), Brian Baylis, Paul Sadhoff (Rock Lobster) and Dave Garouette (DKG components).

Those wooden grips make me want to roll pie crust.

Is rhubarb in season?

They make me want to turn a bowl on a wood lathe.
