Well I was half way threw my ride I realized I had a broken spoke so when I got home I fixed It tightened It up and trued the wheels and wha-la another spoke breaks..this Is just not my day..so I think sabatosh i carefully check for any signs of sabatosh nothing I could see so I made me a emergency spoke and everything Is now working just fine...whether I use a real spoke or a emergency spoke doesn't
matter to me they seem to work just fine?Have a good day

I just finished completely relacing my rear wheel for the exact reason you stated here. Usually once spokes (more than one) start breaking in succession, they don't stop until until you have replaced them all. Metal fatique is pretty equal in the spokes of a well tensioned wheel. It's weakest link syndrome.
I just use a longer spoke and cut It down..make a 90degree bend and then make another 90 degree bend
All It amounts to Is a downward hook..but the critical thing Is your measuring?I've tested these spokes under high tension for a year once..I know they work as good as anything
