Check him out:

His name is Turbo ... which is very fitting. He's an 11 week old Jack Russell. We are also getting a female Jack Russell (posted a pic a few days ago). We're in for a few sleepless nights.

Thanks. This guy is incredibly cuddly. The first night we brought him home we put a clock inside the kennel. He slept like a baby. I guess the ticking noise reminds him of his mother's heartbeat.

Actually a couple of minute ago it was "now that I have this poo squished between my toes, how far can I run before the big guy catches me?"

OMG!

Inundated with cute puppy pictures -- <breath, pat - come on --- breath>

All of them TOOO FREAKIN CUTE. I mean l luv my rescue kitty - but he's a cat with kitty tendencies - and besides he's almost an ADD kitty - he has some problems - from being being living in a starving/sick situation - but now he's better - but he's still a cat and of the independent type. And he's cool - laying on my bike clothes at the moment, big ole furry bally guy.

But my little dog, RIP, of 16-1/2 yrs was someone so totally different, call her dependent but she was just the most bestest little buddy I ever had. She did everything I did. She went white water rafting (she hated it), she went sailing (hated that too), camped (loved that), hiked (totally loved that), etc etc. She shared a mini plate of holiday meals with the family - including a sliver of pumpkin pie with a smidge of whip cream on it - and she loved every minute of it. And she probably traveled 12 out of her 16 plus years with my ex-husband as he went on his plumbing calls (he owned his own company) - Mindy had her own dog bed in the van, and the customers all knew her. It will take a very special dog to replace her :(

Yep animals become definite part of your family.

Yeah, I think it's officially called the Pogo Stick jump. So far he can jump 1/2 way up to the counter top. I'm sure it's just a matter of time before he snags his first roast off the counter.

What a cute pup. JRT's are great, my old neighbors used to raise them. They're scared of absolutely nothing. There was a incredible but sad story in the news this past year of a JRT that defended a group of young kids from two vicious pit bulls. It was in Australia or NZ I think. Brave pup held off the other dogs so the kids could go get help. The JRT had to be put down due to injuries, but it was quite a testament to the courage of those little guys.

My sister got a couple of JR's last year - and they were a bundle of energy - now enter a JR mix from her son (he couldn't keep it in his new apartment) and now there's three tornadoes in the house :) She's sent me some "air" pics as there's usually one dog in the air and the other two caught in mid-spring up.

I agree with free_pizza, have to show off our pups/dogs whenever possible. Here are two more of my guy. Notice his new tough-guy Harley Davidson collar with studs. I think he's developed an attitude since he put this on.

Here's a picture of our visit this morning to see our female pup that we get to pick up in 2 weeks. She's the one on the right that's standing up and leaning on my wife's arm. She has a "Z" shaped white stripe on her back. All of the pups were cute! They're 7 weeks old. The adult dog on the left is the father and the other one is the mother. Both have great temperaments and are very friendly. Two of the pups were pulling on their mom's ear and hair. She didn't mind though. She just stood their and let them tug away.

Yup. We're stopping there though. We wanted the pups to grow up with a buddy. And no we're not breeding them. They will both be fixed at 6 months.

We're not sure. Our pup is currently a smooth coat however that could easily change as they get to adulthood. Most of the other pups are already a rough coat or broken coat. It doesn't really matter to us what type she ends up with though. As long as they can cuddle, be cute, and pull our 50 pound trailer .... kidding.

Wastegate, BOV (blow off valve), DV? Sorry bad car geek joke. I like Zippy(also has cycling reference!)... could also go with Danica.

Sorry I'm only good with male dog names. If I get beagle this summer... his(assuming) name is going to be Cooter. Also met an owner of a brewery who had dogs named Barley and Hoppes.

Not my first choice for a name, however the mother of our current JRT was named Peanut.
