So went biking this past weekend with my roomate and I absolutely loved it... guess you could say love at first ride. He lent me his diamond back topanga and urged me to be rough with it. So me being my aggressive and competitive self, I decided to ride hard and ended up breaking the drop out hangar and derailleur. I am having trouble finding a shop that carries one which will fit the bike. All say they'll order it, but takes at least a week and I want to get back on this weekend. Anyone know of any shops that may carry a large selections of drop outs? Any help would be great!
Thanks

(I think you should let everyone know where you're currently located...)

(College Station? Howdy? Habla Aggie?)

ahh yeah, for some reason thought the forum was specifically for Houston... you can go ahead and insert an aggie joke ... but I'm located in Houston.

Not from Houston but I would bet REI or cycle spectrum would have one.

If you can't find one in a store, you can try that. They had the correct one for my K2 Mach 2.0. It even seemed to be a better made part than the original. They were really fast with mine - if you ordered it this morning, I'd bet you'd be able to ride Sunday, assuming you can get the derailleur/chain you need.

Thanks and Gig'em!
