My hands are very warm well into the teens below zero Fahrenheit. They're huge, though. Look like bear paws on me. Still, beats the pants off my lobster gloves. Price is reasonable, too.

What is the warmest weather you can wear them in while still staying comfortable? I might have to get a pair.

+5-10*f, depending on your tolerance. They seem to evacuate moisture pretty well. I should note that I can operate bike controls well enough, but there is a pretty substantial penalty in dexterity.

I may have to check these out. I've tried just about everything else and still get cold fingers and thumbs from operating the shift levers (even using pogies). My commute is about 1 1/2 hr one way. Fingers usually make it until the last 10 minutes or so.

I have some gloves that look very similar to those that i found at gander mountain . I've got sti brifters and a mountain bike with the old rapid fire shifters and i can shift fairly well on both bikes. That said i have some older pearl izumi amfib gloves that i can handle the sti's way better with but are falling apart

I've got some brown suede gloves with fake sheep liner. They are warm in any weather. What I like best about them is they are easy to get on and off. Very warm and handy.

Mine showed up on Friday! I rode 36 miles in the snow yesterday, but it was too warm (20 degrees) for those monsters. Can't wait for a cold commute. ;)

Easy? No.

I run Campy bits and it's a challenge.

I just wanted to thank the original poster. These gloves have been a godsend for me. 20mph wind in my face, 4 degrees out, and warm fingers and thumbs all the way home on my 10-mile commute.

I may have to try these gloves out. I have a box full of previous purchases. I've found that my tolerance runs about 20 degrees F warmer than that advertised by most gloves. I found some liner / glove combinations that work for 26F - 45F and different gloves for 46F+ but not much works after 20 minutes in less than 25F. Most of my bikes use bar end shifters or grip shifts so dexterity isn't too important.

i think i will look into these also, cause i was just recently diagnosed with renauds disease. when my hands get cold my blood vessels close and i lose all blood flow to my fingers. :eek: what a shock it was the first time i had this happen, two fingers completely white. took about 10 minutes to warm them back up under almost hot water. thanks for the post deeeeude
