How do people post such large pictures to messages in threads? I have tried posting photos several times, and it always says my photos are too large. So I edited some shots down to what seemed a reasonable size (640x480), and it still said the shots were too large. I don't get it. To post a photo from my computer, I would have to shrink it down so small it would look like a postage stamp, yet other people seem to post ginormous photos all the time.

You need to put you photos online somewhere else (e.g. photobucket.com) and then use the [img] tags to display it. The photo is gotten from the host site and displayed in teh browser window -- it never resides on bikeforums.net.
