Who's riding Chilly Hilly on the 24th?

Kasia & I will be there, along with at least two others from work.

We'll be slow, so we may only see you at the start/finish line (assuming you hang around long enough after you finish...)

vrkelley and woodstock and I are meeting up for the first ferry. I talked with BengeBoy at NAHBS this weekend, he might be able to join us afterall. See you there!

Also see the thread "Chilly Hilly what's the ride like" thread in this forum.

My "date" for the ride has decided to go to Arizona that weekend instead. So I think I can meet up.

Well, somebody flag me down at the first ferry when they see me. I'm nearly impossible to miss:

6'6" (7 feet with the helmet and cleats )
full beard
looks like Sasquatch in a neon lime jersey
riding a Sasquatch sized Cross-Check

We're starting on Bainbridge. Kitsapers all of us.
Taking my buddies kid on his first long road ride. Plus, I'm on week 5 of whatever sinus/bronchial crud is going around so we'll be nice and slow.
Red and black Raleigh, Blue and yellow Masi, kid on my dark blue C-Dale R 300.

Extended forecast for the ride, as of Feb 16 -- "showers" (which I guess is better than "rain"). High 49, low 38. A great day for a bike ride in the NW!

Ms. MillCreek and I will be there, but we are staying on Bainbridge with relatives overnight on Saturday. She is not very enthusiastic about riding in the rain since she is getting over the flu, so we might be doing an abbreviated ride, or I might be riding by myself. We were planning on doing an informal ride on part of the route with some of the other Island natives and relatives.

I plan on riding my IF titanium crown jewel: safety orange with white panel chain stays. I will no doubt be wearing something fluorescent.

Looking forward to it! I'll be on Bainbridge side. Showers is better than snow! See you all there.

I'll be there - look for the 6'5" clyde on the red specialized.

Back from a weekend in Poulsbo (right across from BB Is). It was a heavy wet 31F with slick frost most everywhere. The cold wet winds remind me...Bring the chemical warmers! Yes today got up to around 50F over there but the winds were cold and full of moisture.

Our group is doing the leisure thing and departing on the first ferry. Please PM me for details if you'd like to join us.

Weather looking good -- 25% change of precipitation at 7 am, according to National Weather Service, with "no significant precipitation" forecast for the day. Temperature around 40 degrees at down, rising to high 40's during the day.

So, it will be hilly, but not that chilly.

I'm probably going to have to bail. I caught that virus that's going around, and I hear nothing but gloomy reports of nasty infections. I feel horrible. Dangit, I'm itching to get on the road.

I have to admit, the yellow thingy in the sky today is making think I feel better.

I'm starting from Wilmot Gateway Park in Woodinville and taking the B-G Trail down to Magnuson Park, then swing Sand Point NE to Madison down to the ferry.

Anyone else feel like getting some extra miles in?

Man, that's tempting. I'll see if I can talk Kasia into this. What time do you think you'll be hitting the trail?

20 miles from WG Park to the ferry terminal. I'm aiming to hit the 7:55 ferry. I figure the lineup will be pretty huge for it so I want to get there with at least 30 minutes to spare.
I guess I'll be leaving about 5:30 - 5:45am so it leaves some slop time in there.
