"The 33"-Road Bike Racing - racing near DC?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I'm going to be spending some time there. I'm not finding much racing in the area. Am I looking in the wrong places (google)? I'd love to find a couple crits.

OP - you can race min. of 2x every weekend between march and september within 2 hrs. of DC area. look up www.vacycling.org for the D42 schedule, and google PA bicycle racing for the PBRA schedule. LOTs going on around here. There is also a wednesday night training series from May - August in Greenbelt, MD that is great, google route 1 velo for info.

Yes, but the schedule posted on MABRA doesn't link to fliers or other information. Helpful, yes. And I know they're doing a thankless task, but the lack of details is little help to newbs (like me).

All the MABRA events, save 2 or 3, use Bikereg.com. Bookmark the webpages there too and set alarms or mark you calender for when registration opens up. Cat 4 and 5 races fill up in minutes to hours after registration opens.
Tradezone Training series starts this sunday and runs every sunday until the end of March. There is no pre-reg afar as I know and you can get a one day license and do the C race.
