To all ye computer peeps, I need HALP!!!

Ok, so whenever I try to access gmail, my.ucla.edu, and other sites using firefox, I get this message saying "error trying to validate certificate from [insert website here] using OCSP - old response." How do I fix this? I'm getting sick of using internet exploder to open these sites. :(

Is your system date/time set correctly?

Bah, you're just running into why Firefox is a more secure browser than IE. Here's how to turn off the OCSP validation:

1. run Firefox
2. pull down Tools -> Options
3. hit Advanced icon in upper-right
4. go to Encryption tab
5. hit Verification button
6. check ON "Do not use OCSP for certificate validation"
7. OK -> OK and that's it!

Yup, that was the problem. Funny I didn't notice that it said April 12 instead of Feb 12. Oh well. Thanks for your help!

No problem. Or you could just do as Danno said above and remove all those things that makes Firefox a more secure browser than IE... watch out, I think there's a bit of sarcasm about to drip on your shoe! :D
