Why do you punks get 90% of the road races in Texas. Keep it up and I'll move down there...

:D

I did the road schedule for the team news letter tonight and noticed that damn near all the racing is near ATX.

how much elevation change is there for the pace bend course. I looked at the maps, but it doesn't give much terrain relief. I am considering doing the cat5 race.
thanks

There's quite a bit -- you're pretty much always going up or down. That said, it's hard to get dropped at Pace, because it's very rolly and easy to maintain momentum.

I never really thought that there was much elevation change, some easy rollers with one kicker as you turn left onto the old start/finish straight.

Who cares if it has a lot of elevation change, it is a great race and needs to be done!!!!!

I think I am going to drag my wife, my 4 week old son and myself out to do it again. . . .

I'm more excited for what I'm doing at the race after my race is done (during the afternoon races).... Still, awesome race.

Could it be for the same reason there are few RRs in So Cal but plenty in Nor Cal? Getting permits in our area is very difficult and many of the roads are too heavily travelled.
