Ok....this may be a dumb question, but I'm not to saavy on laptops. I have one that I've used for a few years, but never added anything to it. Just used it as it was "off the shelf".

When I moved to Seattle, I left my desktop at home (with my DVD burner). I'm getting tired of being sans DVD burner. I was looking to get an external one, until I suddenly thought I could just get one for the laptop itself (even my 7-port usb hub is starting to get full).

I found this one:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827152073

Which appears to be rated well, but are all the drives standard? Will it work in my laptop? My lappy is a toshiba that is about 3 or 4 years old now.
