This would be jpConrad, merckx89, VanceMac and Dave, patiently waiting for me at Clear Creek station.

That's a funny, surreal looking shot. While Merckx looks normal, JP is caught in an alfred hithcock silhouette appearing to stare at the wall, Dave has a look like "I am quite certain those ants over there are plotting to steal my ba-NA-na", and I'm threatening to crush my water bottle with my grotesque claw hand. Heh.

Anyway, great ride today... it was much nicer and warmer than expected. Traffic not too bad. And nice to meet the new folks.

 OK... with the exception of Merckx, none of these guys would look creepy standing in the bushes taking pictures of you, would they? No really... would they?! ;)

I'm really slouching in that picture and it accentuates my pot belly.

So when we got to Red Box everyone was like "do you want to keep going ? I dunno, do you want to keep going? I dunno do you want to go back, I dunno do you want to go back?" So I just started up towards Wilson and Stan, Dave, JT, Manuel and I rode up there and the rest whimped:D It was great, lots of snow but the road was clear. Manuel and JT had never been up there before and I'm sure they were glad that they went. You never know till you try. A fun day.

I thought it accentuated your...oh never mind. I don't see a pot belly, nonetheless. :D

So, let me get this straight. You suckered Stan, Dave, JT and Manuel into freezing their tails off and climbing up Wilson's toll road to do it? Good one. :D

Just to be clear, I only said hitchcock because of the way he walked onto the screen in silhouette before his show, staring straight across the room. Nothing to do with a pot belly (which he had, and you most certainly do not). Perhaps subconsciously, though, I chose that name because of what ME is so subtly referring to. :p

He looks like a 70's porn star, too.

I still haven't ridden up there, but didn't want to push it today. :o

I know. I just wanted to be absolutely clear that it had nothing to do with Alfred's pot belly. :)

I thought he was comparing you to Hitchcock because ol' Al used to wear that same shirt.

Of course, everything looked colorful to me then. I am much better now.

It was a great ride-- beautiful scenery, light traffic. It was my first time up Angeles Crest, and I was glad to have some experienced riders to go up with. It was nice meeting you guys: Bob, Dave, Mark, John, Vance, Stan, Manuel, and Merckx (forget his name.) I look forward to more rides with you guys in the future.
