Introductions - Checking in from Soutghern Indiana

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Well, here I go again after maybe 15 years off the bikes. We're moving the office out of the house and I think I can justify riding to work, so cool. Back in the day I raced a very little (citizens, maybe Cat4. It's been awhile). Lifestyle changes got me away from the bikes, and I got a motorcycle (not without it's charms), but I've been walking and doing the stationary bike and remember how freaking great it felt to ride.
So, as the winter ends I'll be lubing and putting new rubber on, for starters: a Mountain Goat Whiskey Town Lite (1991ish?), a Fisher Mt. Tam (Hmmm1998 or so?) and a Mongoose Redondo (4 speed internal gear hub).

Tom (46 and a clydsdale. Coolest bike I can imagine: 1976 Team Raleigh)

Check out Classic & Vintage, too. A lot of people share your admiration for those older Raleighs :) .

Welcome to BF!
