Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I wish I would proof read: Finally!
I ordered a new frame a couple months ago from Brent Ruegamer at ruesports.com and finally he has my frame done sanded and painting today. I cant wait. It will be custom painted but I didn't want anything to wild so this is the sketch I gave him to go from.(done in mspaint so back off on the low quality)

Actual will follow begining of the week. Hopefully!

Those angles are all wrong. And why do you want a white border on all your tubes? ;)
I think it's cool. Is the name-on-top-tube the new hotness?

Actually getting the angles wrong was a big stressor when this came over:

If I ever decided to sell it a custom geometry, custom painted frame wasn't going to be very easy anyway so I ok'd him to put the name on the top tube :D

Nice, but I preferred to go the resale route.

Helps to identify Bikes, helmets, etc when you have teammates with all the same crap!

I would buy a Range Rover from a dude named 'Brent'. But not a racing bike.

Yeah its not a cannondale or a cervelo but I think it'll do Pcad. Some of his other work:

And his 8.5lb bike

Those are some pretty slack angles, but that's all the more reason to go custom. I like the blue/black theme, what are you hanging on it?

Sweet ride.
Ruegamers are pretty damn drool worthy.

The geometry was based off my current bike. 72 on the seat tube just means I am using a straight post, not really a slack angle. Its the same as a 73 with a set back post.
The build will be a mix of record and tuned chorus stuff, slr, ritchey wcs, trp brakes and AC 420 for daily use/carbon 58s for race.

I believe Rue built The Retro Grouch shown at the Hand Made show which is my new lust bike.

Only busting jr, looks like a smokin ride. Good luck with it. I'll check out the website.

If you have to ask, you cannot afford it.

Retail on the Zen is 3500 and the Uberlight is 5500 which is inline with the other high end custom carbon builders like Parlee and Crumpton. Custom paint starts at 400 and up .
Pcad- no worries, I know you'll want one soon enough.

Oh no, you didn't:eek::D:eek:
