Since I learned real quick how to rebuild a wheel on my trek,I am wandering about spoke tightness and weight on the rear wheel.
When I first rebuilt the wheel and the spokes were only so tight,The pedaling kind of felt spongy.I tightened then about 1/2 turn each spoke and the wheel feels not spongy at all.
Of course I had also stress relieved the spokes and none of them broke(used a glove and grabbed 4 spokes and squeezed),What I need to know is do I or can I tighten them some more(I dont have a gauge)but I am also 250lbs a lot heavier that the average 180lb man.
