Hey,

Somehow the axle on my rear wheel got stripped, so I need to replace it. The rear wheel is a low-end track wheel from a Bianchi Pista, which has a cartridge bearing hub.

I went to my LBS and bought a new solid threaded axle (I believe it is for cup and cone bearings). It looks like this:

But, when I took the axle out of my wheel, it looked like this one:

My question is: Where do I buy a cartridge bearing axle? Or can I use my cup-and-cone axle and just add some kind of spacer, in which case, where do I buy the spacer?

Thank you!

Where do I buy a cartridge bearing axle?

Any local bike shop should have it or order it.

Do you know the brand of the hub?? wonder if are made by formula. Probably will be cheaper to to get a hub at ebay for 50 or 60 bucks and relace the wheel.

THanks

The hub just says "Bianchi"... I'm not sure who actually manufactures it. It's not Formula, because I have a set of Formulas as well.
