May be a point of interest to some at the feat which he has achieved and a point of disgust to others that he did not do it they way you would like to do a round the world ride.

Just realised my original post sounds a bit rude, but you get the drift.
Bit of both for me. Ia definably impressed but I would like to smell the roses a bit more myself.
Looking at his bike and setup I thought being as he was going for speed he would be a bit more ultra light style set up. Like the Crane brothers.

Very cool! I think his feat shows how amazing human endurance can be and what one can achieve.
Personally I would have liked to had stopped but as for "smelling the roses" on the way, who knows at which level he enjoyed the scenery and I suppose that wasn't the point at attempting a world record anyhow.
What a ride!
Cheers!

that is good to see and know. I think the last story I read about a Round the world bicycle tour is one in which I cannot even remember. Only that she was training for the triathlon and was killed. hmm. It will come back to me when I try to sleep perhaps. Any idea the title?

He was on BBC breakfast today. Did not say much as it was only a very short interview but apparently he had a documentary crew follow him round in bits and bobs, so may be a documentary to come. I hope so.
