I know its probably personal preference, but what location of the shoe do you guys have your cleats installed at? Towards the front, middle or towards the back of the shoes cleat attachment gaps. I have Candy SL and have it right in the middle. Now I am thinking maybe its little easier disengage if I put the cleat towards the front but probably put more strain on my feet.

Thanks in advance.

Big personal preference and body geometry thing here... for me it mostly comes down to where the ball of my foot is in the shoe.

With my Egg Beaters and Candy SLs, I have the cleat almost as far back in the shoe as it will go (Specialized Sport MTB). This just seems to work for me, given the size of my stompers and all that... On my previous shoes with SPD pedals it was more comfortable with the cleat positioned forward in the shoe. The right cleat is dead straight in the shoe, but the left cleat is slightly angled out as I seem to be just a little bit toe-in on the left foot when I pedal.
