Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. you actually might want to think about not going on mission through downtown fallbrook. They are doing road work on main and mission and it is a really tight squeeze even for just cars. Like was said before you can go down live oak up, right on reche, and then you can take a left on green canyon or go straight on reche and do a left on stage coach which will take you past the high school and back to mission right before olive hill. It is just a suggestion
The possibilities are endless. I am thinking that when we hit Fallbrook we should all don blindfolds and split up.
I also live in Fallbrook and second yippy's advice on avoiding that construction on Mission...

Gentlemen, I have to bail out. I hurt my back in the gym yesterday and unless miracle happens, I won't be able to ride at all. :( I just hope that it will rain this Sunday, so you'll postpone the ride for next weekend.
Sorry to hear that Jimmy. I was looking forward to riding with you. Take care of yourself and heal up.
So, if it is raining, are we postponing for one week, or are you guys going ahead anyway?

If it's raining, I think I'll bail. With the current weather forecast accuracy, it'll be difficult to say until Saturday... or Sunday. :p

Thanks Frank! I was also looking forward to ride with you guys. The route you put up seems really cool and I appreciate all the info you provided.
Bummer, I registered for the Tour of Phoenix, and was hoping to use this century as a training ride. Now everything is messed up.
So is March 22 or March 23 the rain date?

I'm officially out. Family stuff and health issues require my time and I haven't been on the bike in a week. Sorry guys. I know, I suck. I'll buy the beer after the next one. You can hold me to it.

OK, I'm calling this canceled. It looks like the weather may end up improving during the day, but it's still too dicey to be stuck out on a long ride in a cold rain.
Rescheduled for Saturday, March 22.
Dry and no wind at 6.
Forecast says windy and numerous showers.
I'll be leaving about 7 to get coffee.

It was great.
Only negative was that you guys weren't there to enjoy it with me. F-ing weather forecasters.

Nice pics, Frank! I want to pet the shaggy cow. :p Your breakfast and lunch are lacking in nutrition, however.
You're the one that told me to eat paydays.

I'll be in for March 22. If my old back feels better by then :o Dan, are you going to start a new thread? Maybe Grumpy can start it? I think you scared the el-ay people away. ;) Or maybe simply the el-ay people don't like the es-dee people? Here I am (and Grumpy), stuck in the middle with you... :D
