neat looking. heavy. they catch crosswinds like no one's business. not race legal. impossible to repair if you trash 'em.

I've seen lots of them. Know two ppl who had the rear hub spars unglue from the hub. Did not cause a catistrophic failure but the rear drive would just spin because the hub internally was no longer glued to the wheel.
I hear that Spinnergy will give you $150 roughly torward a new wheelset if your set is out of waranty.
Comments on weight is also a concern. typically seen used by the triathlon crowd.
Would consider the Spinergy Xaero/lite instead.
