I'm not quite a clydesdale, but I do have a bulging belly. All the jerseys I've owned before have been half or quarter zip, I recently bought a full zip one from Performance. Since it was online I didn't get to try it on. The problem I'm having is that the zipper bunches up a lot along my front side at my stomach and chest when I'm leaning forward on my road bike. Is this a problem with full zip jerseys overall is is it only a problem for those of us who don't have washboard abs? I don't think it's a sizing issue since it fits fine otherwise and I always wear Large sized clothing. The local LBS has a VERY minimal amount of clothing for sale and nothing that fits me in full zip, so I can't try on other jerseys.

Try a wicking compression T unser it to flatten out the belly a bit. It'll actually help you with moisture management anyway, as well.

yeah, it's just a problem in general. my new voler jersey does this and it's more the zipper than the fit.
some of the nicer full zips don't bunch up as much but they are more expensive.
I have found that just a tad of light oil on the zipper helps smooth the action.
Give it a try.

I think you may have misunderstood me. I don't have problems with the zipper zipping up or down, it's the folds and the bunching up of the zipper when I'm wearing it zipped up.
