Kid shot on bike near Wilton & Melrose

Just read this bit on the LA Times Homicide Blog...

"A 17-year-old youth was shot in the head while riding his bycicle in the intersection of Clinton Street and Norton Avenue at about noon Thursday, Feb. 14. The teen was transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he died the next day. Homicide detectives with LAPD's Hollywood Division are investigating. HR is seeking further information."

Not much info. Effing tragedy.

"17 year old kid"? who just happened to be on a bicycle. Without trying to sound callus, it could be a gang killing. Fire away, but just because the word bicyclist is used in a news report, doesn't mean it has anything to do with people how ride bikes for recreation, health etc. Most of the world uses bikes to get around and have NOTHING in common with most of us, even if you commute. Go ahead, attack.

You're right, actually. I heard a news report late last night that it was gang related.

Correct, a bunch of MS 13 regulars (that we call the police for regularly for loitering) were loitering again in the shopping center parking lot last Friday where one of my business is located harassing people for donations for funeral expenses. Bunch of cockroaches.
