Introductions - renewed cyclist

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hey all,
It's never to late, so they say......I'm having a great time, still working through all the little kinks, but am close to feeling comfortable at then end of a century. Lots and lots of miles needed but am willing to do that. So much has changed in my thirty years away, and at the same time so much is still the same. Hope to meet some of you on the road.
So cal, Cochella Valley

Hello Jerry, what are you riding now?
You are doing well if you are doing almost a century.
Welcome to BF!

Thanks East Hill
My new bike is a Cannondale Synapse SL1, Topolino X3.0 wheels. Such a different world from my old Columbus tubes. It's also nice to have heartrate, cadence, and speed readings. In my day you poked yourself in the neck to see if it was still beating, tried to imagine if your cadence was good, and hoped like heck you were going fast.

Hehe - fun to have the toys/tools for the riding - I on-purpose purchased good mtb gear and winter road biking stuff for the last couple of years - and right now I feel good about my winter riding, etc - so I'm set. So my next aim at bike purchases are aimed at some new tires for the mtb and also up grading the roadbike because I want more miles out of it this year. And I really want a htm. Ahhh toyyysss.
Good to have you back in the saddle!
