Hello everyone,
I was just wondering if anyone on here has used a spin trispoke? My friend passed one down to me and it is currently set up as a rear, 126 spacing. It does not have a cassette on it, it has freewheel threads. I wanted to convert it to a front but haven't had any luck. Does anyone have an extra front spin axle? I tried looking up the info, but "trispoke" is no longer around. I tried re-spacing it, but the axle is 120mm. any help is great appreciated.

Let me be the first one to break it to you. The spin trispoke is not a fast wheel. The spokes were far too rounded and the rim not deep enough.

Nope, fast trispokes have a 2.5:1 aspect ratios for the spokes and a rim depth of +50mm. The Hed/Specialized is one, and a wheel actually only named Trispoke is another.

The spin above has a rim depth under 35mm, and spoke aspect ratios around 1.5 or 2:1. Theres a saying, "speed is in the details". It has never been more true than this instance. Some early reports have the Spin Tri-Spoke performing comparably to a 32 spoke wheel. To give you an idea, the exact same design but with a different size was used as a mountain bike wheel.
