Hello everyone! I'm new to the forums and just starting to get back into cycling. I've ridden a number of inexpensive bikes that are great to get from here to there, but I'm new to the world of serious cycling. Most of my initial riding is going to be commuting and shorter rides around the valley here, with the hope of doing some longer rides and maybe some cyclocross racing down the line. I'm getting a new ride for this spring, and I'm leaning strongly towards a Kona Jake the Snake, all stock with the exception of upgrading to a triple crank to make hill climbs a little easier. Anyhow, I'm new and hoping to learn, and I'm glad to be here.

Thanks everybody! Snow doesn't scare me, but I am sure tired of it--- almost 400" have fallen up here this season!
