Bear with me because some of the details are a little fuzzy. I parked my car nearby and began walking down Main Street in my town just to chill. A well-dressed panhandler in a white suit (kind of a cross between Miami Vice and Col. Sanders) came up to me and aggressively asked for some spare change. I told him to eff off so he started getting pushier. He insulted me by saying that "walking is for dogs!" or something like that. I got really offended so I shoved him away. At that point he threatened me and a bunch of his cronies vowed to hunt me down and make me pay. So I ran to the end of the road and tried to hide in this dilapidated apartment building. Sometime while running I became barefoot. The thugs were still after me so I went to one the upper floors of the building and jumped onto the fire escape and outside. Some tenants in the building seemed to be relaying my every move to the pursuing thugs. I went to run around the far side of the building but it was littered with broken glass, cutting my foot and immobilizing me. At that point one of the thugs finds me. I tried to roll away from him (my foot is useless because it's been cut) and I must have awakened before he got a chance to beat me senseless or whatever. So what does it mean?

Hi,
it means it's time to buy a pair of hiking boots; and do some walking in the wild.

Your bike is trying to tell you something. It can't actually talk to you, but it has developed the ability to enter it's messages into your dreams.

If you'd been riding instead of driving and walking on Main Street, the panhandler would never have gotten near you.... :D

It is quite clear that you need to stop flipping the bird to well dressed pan handlers.

You feel that people who ask for help are moochers. But, you are afraid that if you don't help someone, they may turn on you.

Walking is for Dogs

Raiyn,
a couple weeks ago, someone asked why he liked riding bikes. I told him he was a dog. Dogs like to go fast, he likes to go fast. Dogs like to run in packs, we call them pacelines. As a former hiker and backpacker, I have to disagree. Dogs stick to their territory; we don't. If I could still hike, I would. If I had to chose between hiking and cycling; I would take hiking.
I love cycling, but there are a few things I miss. I miss watching the sun come up from the top of a mountain, with fresh brewed gourmet coffee in hand. I miss the feeling of accomplishment when I get to the top of a rugged climb. I miss the eloquent quiet of Nature, a quiet you only find miles from the road. And I miss the way food tastes when you have burned 8,000 calories in a day; and the way you can eat with utter abandon. I miss it all.

Heck, it's obvious. You have repressed feelings for your cycling shoes and your pedals are jealous. They have conspired with your bike to influence your dreams to torture you until you resolve this crisis in favor of them.

The pan handler is obviously one of your pedals, the group of them means the other joined in. That the residents of the building represent your bike since they were helping your pedals torture you, ie., the broken glass.

The cuts were to remind you that without your shoes, pedals, and bike operating together with you, you cannot function.

Either that or it was the chili-cheese-nachos and root beer.

No it isn't.

I wrote it not an hour ago, and placed it there to test your faith. You have failed, my child.
