Going to San Francisco next week for 5 days with my wife for our anniversary. Staying in North Beach area. Recommendations or suggestions for "don't miss..." etc.? Not unlimited funds, so looking to keep expenses down. Best inexpensive seafood is... where? We're going to be car-less, getting around on public transportation. Thanks for any/all ideas!

Congrats :) Hopefully we'll have some good weather for you.
One of the must-see things for me is a walk along Crissy Field out to Fort Point at the base of the Golden Gate. Crissy Field is beautiful, and the view of the bridge is awesome from Fort Polnt. As an added bonus, you can take a short walk over to the Exploratorium and the Palace of Fine Arts.
Since you'll be in North Beach, a walk up to Coit Tower is in order. You'll also be close to the San Francisco Brewing Company and Rogue Brewery, if you like that sort of thing.
I'd also suggest Dolores Park if the weather is nice, it's got great views of the city. And, visiting Dolores Park would put to close to great, pretty cheap food, cool bars, and funky SF-style shopping on and around Valencia Street. Of course, while you're in the Mission district, you should try an SF classic - the super burrito :) I'd recommend trying the Al Pastor at El Tonayense on 24th St., or anything at La Cumbre on Valencia.
I usually eat seafood in sushi form, which probably isn't what you want, but if it is, check out Hama Ko, it's great.
