Does anyone use Run.GPS?

It looks like an interesting program and would complement my Edge 305. It will display an actual map of a course that was uploaded to a 305 and show you where you are on the course. (The course file has to be converted to GPX.)

Since I usually carry my phone on a ride, maybe I won't need an Edge 705.

Not to bring up an old thread but I figured no sense in posting a new one. I was basically wondering the same thing about the run.gps software? I am wanting to get a gps style cyclometer and I have a windows mobile smartphone with gps. Has anyone else tried it out. If you go on their portal it seems a good many people are using it?

I bought the program and have used it. I think it is great if you want to use a phone as a GPS and tracking device. It will give turn-by-turn directions. It uses open source maps that can be downloaded in case you lose the data connection.

However, I bought an Edge 705 and now use it exclusively since it does everything RunGPS does and more.

I like the 605 and 705 but they are out of my price range right now. I have seriously thought about the 305 but heard the battery doesn't last very long and I would like to go on all day rides next year. I thought about my phone because I could use it for the gps and logging functions and also as an mp3 player while riding. I would just need to figure out a nice way to mount it or wear a holster or something for it.
