Bicycle Mechanics - zipp wheel decals

I have a set of the zipp wheels that the stickers are turning browninsh. I am told this is a common problem for wheels built during a certian time period. They are permanent to the wheel and can not be removed I have also been told. I find this totally unaceptable for a wheel in this price range. Has anyone heard of a solution for this, and also, what is zipps stance on this problem.

I see Zipp decals on eBay all the time. Maybe this is the reason. If you don't get an answer here try the Road froum. Lots of Zipps there.

Contact Zipp through your local dealer. They have taken care of this problem in the past, but I am not sure on their policy now as it's been awhile since I've heard of this problem.

Call our customer service guys, ask for replacement decals, and your problems are solved. :D

How would that help since the stickers are bonded to the wheels and can not be removed? The year model that is having this problems used this bonding process instead of regular removable stickers.

I'm well aware of that. You cover the co-molded decals with the new decals, rendering the appearance of the rims as new. There is no way to remove the old decals without damaging the rim.
