Has anyone here ridden in the Native Planted Classic (http://www.ride4areason.org/npclassic/index.shtml) or know anything about it? I'm planning to ride it with my father in June and I was wondering what people thought.
One of my coworkers is from the Methow Valley and says the area is beautiful.

It looks as if you will be following Highway 20 most of the route. Yes, the scenery will be spectacular! I've never ridden it on a bicycle, though.

I am trying it for the first time also--on my single speed! It should be a beautiful ride, though 11,000 feet of gain should temper any giddyness such beauty might inspire. Are you doing the full 127 miles?

Oh man, you are TOUGH!
It will be absolutely gorgeous scenery, though. Once your heartrate gets back to normal, and you can enjoy it, that is!

It is beautiful country but it could be cold & wet in late June, I'd rather ride that area in late July or even August.

That's the plan, we'll see what kid of shape I can get in between now and then.
