Now I might be undereducated but i have come to the conclusion that pretty much every toe clip (except the soma quad gate) are made for one strap.So do you guys just have one strap that doesn't have a holder or am I missing something?

there are definitely other companies than soma who make clips designed for double straps, shouldn't take much searching to come up with some. people also come up with some nifty DIY solutions.

just put the front strap over the top of the clip. there is no problem with it like that.

I just cut up a leather punching bag I found at the Salvation Army to make little leather pieces to hold the straps in the right places.

The work exactly like the Cadence Doublizer (http://www.cadencecollection.com/collection/images/doublizer/03.jpg), but they cost me $5 for enough leather to make them for four or five bikes instead of $20 for one pair.
